She’s Still Making a Splash!

When we first shared Jacey’s story in July 2025, she had already overcome incredible odds. A student at White Dove School in Chamelecón, Honduras, Jacey went from a doctor’s initial prediction that she would never walk or talk to becoming a competitive swimmer and thriving in school. Her determination and perseverance continue to inspire us!

Now, a little over a year later, Jacey is still making waves! Thanks to your generous support, she continues her education and is preparing to travel to Guatemala to compete in a swimming competition.

Jacey’s future is full of possibilities. She dreams of what might come after graduation, including the possibility of studying medicine at university. While she hasn’t decided exactly where life will take her, one thing is certain: she has already shown what determination, perseverance, and opportunity can make possible.
