Help keep Christian education strong in Nicaragua
Across Nicaragua, students are showing up to learn, grow, and hear about Jesus. Jesús, the Good Shepherd School in Managua, Nicaragua is overcrowded. Some older students are walking home after dark, and teachers are working long double shifts to keep up.
Students like fifteen-year-old Aura. She dreams of becoming a lawyer to protect girls like herself. She lives with her family in a single-room home, where some days they eat three meals—and some days they don’t.
But at this school, Aura has found safety, stability, and the love of Christ.
Without new classrooms, students like Aura will lose the safe place where they learn, grow, and discover the future God has for them.
Generous donors have already given over $110,000, but $58,000 is still needed to complete construction before the school year starts.
Your gift will help buy the final materials: cement, steel, windows, tile, paint—everything needed right now to open these classrooms in time.
Your gift can help the Jesus the Good Shepherd School get started ASAP with the construction on new classrooms.
