Generation Rising is a Christian non-profit organization working to break the cycle of poverty in Latin America through Christ-centred education.

But what does it mean to really break the cycle of poverty?

For Francisco and Alba, young parents in Nicaragua, it means praying every night that their daughters, Sara and Alexa, don’t grow up the same way they did—neglected, abandoned, caught up in gangs, and without any education.

Yet for years, the sisters’ future was bleak. They attended a local public school where they learned next to nothing and had teachers that cared very little for them. At 11 years old, Alexa still couldn’t read.

How could they discover their God-given gifts and break the cycle of poverty they were born into without a quality education?

So, night after night, Francisco and Alba prayed for a miracle.

The miracle came when we met them and told them to enroll Sara and Alexa in the local Christian school. We promised we would find a way to make their education happen.

And not just for them, but for 30 more children just like them. They’re in school now, learning as much as they can, being shown the love of Jesus each day—just waiting for the news that their tuition has been covered, too.

Will you help cover their tuition today and take part in this miracle?

$600 sends one child to school for a full year. $19,200 covers tuition for all 32 children, including Sara and Alexa.

Your gift of any amount today will ensure children in Nicaragua and Paraguay receive a quality education rooted in Jesus’ love.

Armed with that, they’ll be able to discover their God-given gifts and break the cycle of poverty for themselves and generations to come.

Every gift is tax-receiptable.
