Every Sunday Nari wakes up and walks to church – by herself. 

She is in Grade 6 and her faith grows every day. Nari learned about Jesus from her teachers at the Jesus the Good Shepherd School. 

She loves Jesus, she loves going to Sunday School and she loves serving in the dance ministry in her congregation.  

But Nari is missing something crucial: a Bible of her own. 

Nari is growing up in a cycle of generational poverty. Her life is filled with challenges: an unstable single parent household, limited resources, and a future that can feel very uncertain. 

And that is why faith in Jesus - and a Bible - is so important for Nari and so many students like her.
